Easy AC Screen Installation Guide

Thank you for purchasing the Easy AC Screen. This simple guide will walk you through installation in just a few steps. Most installations take about 15 seconds and require no tools.

Before You Begin

Follow the installation instructions provided by your air conditioner manufacturer

Ensure your window and AC unit are properly seated and secure

Easy AC Screen fits most 14-inch window AC units

13-inch and 15-inch units may require a U-channel white foam strip or Velcro for a complete seal

Option One: Standard Installation

  1. Install your window air conditioner according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Slide the AC unit to one side so one side of the unit is flush with the window frame.
  3. Lower the window toward the top of the AC unit, leaving a small gap of approximately ¼ inch while ensuring the AC unit is secure.
  4. Place the Easy AC Screen in the open space next to the AC unit. One side should be flush with the window frame and the other flush with the AC unit.
  5. Extend the Easy AC Screen until it fills the open space completely.
  6. Lower the window to close the remaining gap and secure the panel in place.
  7. Enjoy improved insulation and a cleaner installation.

Option Two: Alternate Installation

This option works well for certain window sizes or unit
styles.

  1. Install your window air conditioner according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Slide the AC unit to one side so it sits flush with the window frame.
  3. Lower the window until it rests directly on top of the AC unit.
  4. Place the Easy AC Screen in front of the open space next to the AC unit and extend it until the gap is fully sealed.
  5. For proper fit: 13-inch AC units: Attach a small strip of Velcro to the back of the Easy AC Screen and a U-channel white foam strip to the window frame. 15-inch AC units: Add a 1×1 U-channel white foam strip cut to length and place it on top of the Easy AC Screen where it meets the AC unit.
  6. Press the Easy AC Screen securely into place.
  7. Enjoy.

Important Fit Notes

Window and AC unit sizes vary

In some cases, U-channel white foam strips may be needed to achieve a complete seal

Easy AC Screen can also be installed horizontally if required

Care & Maintenance

Wipe clean with a damp cloth or standard surface cleaner

No lubrication needed

Stores easily when not in use
